Later that evening, Jack was in his room writing his secret journal that he hid under his covers in his bed. Jack was writing and thought.
'Dear Journal, there are some things going on after my father's death..... First, I had a ghost dog named Zero. Then just today I met a scientist named Dr. Finkelstein, and a rag doll named Sally.... Oh wow, she's very pretty..... Hey, what am I saying? I suddenly had feelings for a girl, but it's not going to be easy to hide it from Sally. Plus, the Mayor thinks I'm in love with her...... But I don't..... yet. He keeps on embarressing me about me being handsome! I wish I would get him back for embarressing me all the time......' Jack stop writing for a second, and looked out the window. He can see his house, but a tall tower was seen far away.... Jack sure missed his home now..... But now something popped in his head.
"Maybe I should get the Mayor back! But how?" Jack said. He was thinking, what should Jack do? What kind of prank would scare the Mayor out? Jack's face lit up and smirked.
"Hmmm..... I know what prank I should do to the Mayor......" He said.

The next day, Jack was by the stairs waiting for the Mayor to come out of the room. After a few moments, the Mayor came out with plans for this year's Halloween.
"Hey Mayor! Mayor! Check it out! I'm gonna jump off the edge of the stairs!" Jack said smiling. The Mayor turned his face to sad/worried.
"What?! Are you insane?!"
"Okay here I go!" Jack climbed the edge and get ready to jump.
"Jack, no!" Mayor cried.
"1...... 2....." Jack counted.
"Jack!"
"3!" Jack jumped and falls off. The Mayor cried and looked down and...... THUD with bone jingling sounds from the floor. The Mayor kept on staring with his mouth open and eyes widened. On the floor, some of Jack's bones were in peices, like his arm and ribs.
"OH MY GOD!!!! JACK!!!!" Mayor cried, he ran downstairs and saw Jack's body and bones on the floor. Zero appeared and saw Jack's body, he licked his face.
"Jack....? Are you..... okay?" Mayor asked with a shakey voice. Jack didn't respond, his eyes are still closed. Zero didn't get what's going on, but he did saw the ribs on the floor, he grabbed one with his mouth. The Mayor started to cry and wailed.
"Oh, that little trouble maker just got commit suicide!!! Now who's going to be the ruler of Halloween Town?! And.... OH MY GOD, JACK IS DEAD I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!" As the Mayor still wails, a sound was heard from Jack, his smile appeared across his skull.
"Huh....?" The Mayor looked down at Jack's face. Jack started to crack up laughing.
"Oh my god! That was the funniest thing I have ever did!" The Mayor gasped.
"Jack?! You..... You're alive?!"
"Hahaha! Yeah, don't forget, I'm a skeleton! I'm already dead! Oh man! You should've seen your face!" Jack laughed.
"Jack, why did you do that?" Mayor asked with a whined voice.
"That's what you get for embarressing me all the time!"
"Like what?"
"........Nevermind....." Jack sighed.
"Don't scare me like that, young man. And by the way, do need help for putting your bones back?" Mayor asked. Jack looked at himself and nodded.
"Yeah..... And I'm not going to jump from high distances ever again..... It hurts me." Jack said.
"Good. You'll never know what will happen when skeletons lost ALL of the bones...."
"......I don't want to know anyway." Jack said shooking his head.
Since the Mayor helped Jack putting his bones back to their own places, the door was opened.
"Hello Uncle Mayor." A 17 year old woman with dark brown hair, wearing a green suit with brown pants, and had same eyes as the Mayor's. She was the neice of him, her name is Lein.
"Oh hello Lein, it's been a while." The Mayor said turning his face to happy. Lein looked at the floor with Jack still there, his bones were in place almost.
"Whoa.... What happened here? Did you push Jack again?" Lein asked playfully.
"No! He 'fell'." The Mayor replied.
"Yeah..... I was cracked a little." Jack said putting his ribs back. Lein made a look.
"Let me guess...... You're hyper?"
"No. I got the Mayor back for embarressing me....." Jack replied.
"Oh come on! I didn't embarress you that bad." Mayor said.
"Yes you were, do that embarressing handsome thing again, I'll do the worst prank on you."
"Okay! Okay! I won't say anything about you being handsome again....."
"Promise?"
"I promise. I'll just say you're scary and such a bonehead....." Mayor said rolling his eyes. Jack stood up and put his shirt back on and brushed it.
"Okay.... That you can say. Oh by the way Lein, do have a new best plan for this year's Halloween?"
"Oh yes I do Jack. Here you go!" Lein gave Jack a peice of paper with plans. Jack looked over it.
"Amazing! This was a greatest plan I have ever made!" Jack said. Zero looked and cocked his head on a side, he didn't understand this plan.
"Jack, let me see that." The Mayor took the paper from Jack's boney hands, and looked at it.
"Uhh, Jack? Are you sure this is a good plan? It seemed hard for you....."
"Of course it is! Trust me!" Jack replied.
"I don't know..... Doing the contest of snail slurping sounds gross. Are you sure you're really going to do that?"
"Yeah! I'm going to win for sure! And guess how many snails we're going to slurp?"
"How many?" Mayor asked with a worried look.
"34!"
"Whaaaaa?! That's too much! You'll get sick!"
"No I won't." Jack said.
"Come on uncle, I'm sure he'll do it and win for sure." Lein said. The Mayor scratched his head.
"Well..... I guess I'll let Jack do the contest. If he gets sick, he'll lose...."
"Trust me, Mayor. I can do it!" Jack insisted.
"Okay! Halloween was 3 months away, so we'll do more plans!" Mayor said. Jack smiled.
