Jack was sitting on the electric chair and very frightened. Once Dr. Finkelstein was about to pull down the lever to activate, little Sally stopped him by grabbing his arm.
"No! Don't kill him!" Sally insisted. The doctor stared at Sally with a sneer.
"Sally, stay out of this! And first of all, I wasn't planning to kill him, I was planning to experiment him, just like I said eariler!" He replied with a growl.
"But, it's a wrong thing to do! Please let him go! Please!" Sally begged. Jack, who was still sitting in the chair, stared at Sally and the doctor with beg in his skull.
"He was just here to get his dog back! Let him go, please!" Sally begged again.
"I don't know...." The doctor started. Jack just sighed.
"I hate to interrupt, but you don't know who you're treating here." Dr. Finkelstein and Sally looked at him.
"You're just a boy, a skeleton boy. I was just trying to teach you a little lesson here...." The doctor said. Jack made a stern look.
"And I think you don't know who I am.... Do you?"
"Yes.... You're just a begger boy. Sad excuse for you....." Dr. Finkelstein chuckled. Sally stared at Jack and then asked.
"Umm.... What's your name?"
"Sally!" The doctor started.
"Oh, I'm glad you asked..... I'll give you a hint: I'm the Pumpkin Prince." As Jack said that, the doctor gasped, and Sally had her eyes widened.
"You're the what?!" Dr. Finkelstein asked. Jack made a smile across his skull.
"I happened to be the Pumpkin Prince for a while, but I'm the king now. Oh, my name is Jack Skellington." He said.
"Oh my goodness...." The doctor wheeled over to Jack and freed him from the chair.
"I'm so sorry, Jack. I never imagine that you are the Prince of Halloween. Please forgive me...." The doctor said. Jack stood up and looked at the doctor who felt very guilty now.
"Of course I will. Doctor, why do you want to experiment people who will barge in here? And I agree with the rag doll girl there...." Jack said looking at Sally now.
"Well, it's just that....." Dr. Finkelstein started, he opened his lid of the head and scratched his brain.
"If you don't mind, don't do this to anybody. Please?" Jack asked nicely.
"Hmmm..... Oh alright. I promise.... Since you're the heir of Halloween Town, I'll do anything for you." The doctor replied. Jack's face lit up and smiled.
"Thank you! And sorry for barging in here...."
"Oh it's alright..... You're silly dog just wants to explore here that's all."
"Eh, hehehe.... Yeah." Jack chuckled. Sally walked by to Jack.
"About what you just said.... How can you be a king now?" She asked. Jack stared at Sally, he felt dazed for a minute.
'Whoa.... She's so..... Beautiful.....' Jack thought.
"Jack?" Sally asked waving her hand in front of Jack's face, he blinked several times and blushed.
"Oh! Uh, sorry! Umm..... I just became king yesterday, because my dad died by Oogie Boogie...." Jack said.
"Oh..... So sorry about that. I never heard the news about that." Dr. Finkelstein said.
"Well, I told the Mayor about it, and he lets me live at his place for a few years, and then I'll live at my old place again." Jack said.
"Well, that was nice of the Mayor." Sally said staring into Jack's eyes.
"Y-yeah...." Jack said staring back at Sally in the eyes as well and blush a lot more.
It seemed like Jack and Sally liked each other, but for Jack, he likes her a lot MORE.... Zero pulled Jack's little coat-tail from his black vest. Jack looked down to Zero.
"Zero, not now...." He said. Zero growled a little bit.
"Jack, it seemed like Zero wants you to go...." Dr. Finkelstein said, he didn't notice Jack and Sally were staring each other. Jack sighed.
"Okay, okay. Come on Zero...."
"And, again Jack, I'm very sorry about earlier...." The doctor said.
"It's fine. Really. But, can I visit you again sometime?" Jack asked.
"You are always welcome here, Jack."
"Thanks.... See you soon, Dr. Finkelstein and..... umm...." Jack now looked at Sally.
"I'm Sally. Hope you visit here more often...." Sally said, blushing. Jack smiled and accidently bumped into the wall.
"Ooh! Uhhh.... eh, hehehe! See ya!" Jack chuckled and walked out the door, Zero followed him. Sally giggled.
"He's funny!"
"Whew.... I have to admit, Sally. Glad you stopped me there for trying to experimenting him...." Dr. Finkelstein said.
"Jack was very nice too..... And cute....." Sally said now blushing a lot more.
"Sally! Don't be so drama like!"

At the Mayor's house, Jack and Zero just walked in the house.
"Mayor! We're home!" Jack called. The Mayor walked downstairs with a smile on his face.
"Where have you been?" He asked.
"It's a long, scary, and dazenly story...." Jack said.
"What happened? No, wait! Let me guess..... You met a girl, haven't you?"
"Yes, but that was the last part....." Jack replied.
"Oohhhh, I knew it! I knew you would handle the handsome part!" The Mayor said with a wide smile. Jack just stared at him with a look.
"Okay, seriously, stop with the handsome part! I just met a new friend at the lab." Jack said.
"Really? Who is it?"
"Dr. Finkelstein, and the girl named Sally...." Jack replied.
"Oh I heard about that scientist, and the rag doll in that lab. I sometimes visit them with some stuff I need help with...." Mayor complained.
"Yeah.... He almost killed me....." Jack said.
"Like how?" Mayor asked. Jack told him the whole story.
"Oohhh. So, Zero wanted to check out the lab, and Dr. Finkelstein tried to experiment you for barging into the lab. And you are in love with Sally...." Mayor said. Jack blushed deeply and made a look.
"I didn't say I'm in love her! I just had....."
"Don't be shy, Jack. Sooner you'll admit to Sally that you love her after the years..." Mayor said. Jack covered his face with his hands.
'How embarressing!' He thought.
