This character of mine didn't really appear in my Crash stories, but she did only for one chapter in Wrath of Cortex I am writing. But, who is she? Let me explain:
Mai is the daughter of the chief in the village of the Aku Uka Brothers (when they were humans). Mai must marry one of the brothers she is so close to when she and them were children. When Aku Aku and Uka Uka fight to win the hand of Mai, one of them must be the new leader of the village. Uka Uka won the fight. But, Mai senses the darkness in him, and declines the offer. She told her father that her heart belongs to Aku Aku. Furious, Uka Uka awakens the dark magic days after Aku Aku and Mai's marriage and destroys the entire village, killing the people, even Mai. Aku Aku was heartbroken that his wife passed, and he must put away his brother to the temple prison to protect his island home and the other islands.

I've been thinking to write a little story about the past of the Aku Uka Brothers with Mai, but it depends.
